HoursThe museums will be open on Mondays through August 24!Springfield Science Museum Monday – Saturday: 10am – 5pm Sunday: 11am – 5pm Michele and Donald D'Amour Museum of Fine Arts George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum Connecticut Valley Historical Museum Daily: 11am – 4pm Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden Spring/Summer Every Day, 9am – 8pm Fall/Winter Every Day: 9am – 5pm Welcome Center Every Day: 9am – 5pm Museum Store Daily: 10am – 5pm Genealogy & Local History Library Located in the Connecticut Valley Historical Museum Sunday – Tuesday: Closed Wednesday – Saturday: Noon – 4 pm Museums are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. The Dr. Seuss Sculpture Garden is closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Turn left onto State Street, proceed for three blocks and you will see the large, white marble Springfield City Library building on your left. Take the first left past the library onto Elliot Street and then the next left onto Edwards Street.From the South - Take Interstate 91 North to Exit 6. Stay on Columbus Avenue to State Street. Turn right, proceed for three blocks and you will see the large, white marble Springfield City Library building on your left. Take the first left past the library onto Elliot Street and then the next left onto Edwards Street. From the East - Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Exit 6 (I-291). Exit at Dwight Street (Exit 2B), turn left. Follow Dwight to State Street. Turn left at the light, go through another light and you will see the large, white marble Springfield City Library building on your left. Take the first left past the library onto Elliot Street and then the next left onto Edwards Street. From the West - Take the Massachusetts Turnpike to Interstate 91 South and follow I-91 South to Exit 7. Turn left on State Street, proceed for three blocks and you will see the large, white marble Springfield City Library building on your left.
