This Currier & Ives image, Christ at the Well shows Jesus on his way to Galilee. He was tired and thirsty and stopped to rest by Jacob’s well. A Samaritan woman, who was an outcast in the village, came by herself to draw some water from the well. Jesus surprised her by asking her to give him something to drink. The story reminds believers that all people are deserving of respect.
