Young girl dressed in blue with white knitted hat and shawl cover trimmed in white and blue pompoms. Right hand inside fur hand muff. Standing outside a doorway making footprints in snow.
In Little Snowbird, Currier & Ives celebrate the innocence of childhood. One of four prints in a series, the print shows a little girl dressed for winter, standing on fresh snow while feeding a bird at her feet. The title of the print cleverly refers to both the action of the image as well as the sentimental name of the little girl.
