How the Grinch Stole Christmas Program Pack

$15.00

Description

Introducing Dr. Seuss Program Packs! Teachers, educators, and parents can enhance their literacy curriculum with these Google Slides-based activities. Each themed lesson includes a short museum tour and multiple interactive curriculum-based activities based on the work of Dr. Seuss.

Feeling Grinchy? In this interactive lesson, students will learn about the origin of the Grinch character, get a sneak peek into The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum, practice story mapping, and use context clues to interpret text from the book. They then will have the opportunity to look at other Springfield Museums’ collections objects and write open-ended persuasive responses about the emotions of the subjects. To finish the lesson, students can make their own Grinch-inspired craft.

Instructions for use:

  1. Extract the presentation from the zip folder.
  2. Upload the presentation into your Google Classroom for your students!
  3. The presentation is designed with some text boxes and manipulatives so it is best for students to view it in “edit” so that they can input their own answers. Please use this Program Pack in the best way that suits your students. Activities were designs to be completed individually or as a group!
