During the Theodore White interview, Mrs. Kennedy spoke of the many illnesses JFK endured as a child, his days spent bedridden, and his passing the time reading about great men of history. “Jack loved history … history made Jack what he was.” He was said to have especially enjoyed The Legends of King Arthur based on the tales of Sir Thomas Malory.
Our curators sought books that published during the time period Jack might have read them.
