Celebrate the opening of The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum, the world’s first and only museum dedicated to beloved children’s author and Springfield native Theodor Seuss Geisel.
Before the museum opens its doors, the city-wide celebration will begin with an evening hosted by Sheraton Springfield Monarch Place Hotel. Enjoy Seuss-inspired hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and live music by Emperor Norton’s Stationary Marching Band. All revenue will be donated to the Museums’ capital campaign, Seuss in Springfield: Building a Better Quadrangle.
