Explore the challenges and opportunities of transparent watercolors: graded washes, controlling edges, masking, etc. We’ll paint a still life, exploring wet-in-wet, splatter and other texture effects in the background, moving into rendering form, light and shadow in the foreground subjects. No previous experience is necessary. Bring a brown bag lunch and materials if you have them.
