Inspired by concepts and practices of the Hudson River School painters – as presented and demonstrated by the instructor – dramatic mountains vistas with trees, rock ledges, waterfalls etc., will be our muse. Composition development, atmospheric perspective, value massing, color harmonies and contrasts, and dramatic light effects, quick sketch and finish techniques and more. Demonstrations, individual instruction, critique and lots of painting time. For all levels. Supply list provided.
