The Altered Book: A Creative Way to Upcycle Books

October 4, 2017 @ 10:00 am12:00 pm
| Cost: $88 | Cost for Members: $75

This course is a creative exploration of techniques and materials used to transform old, hardcover books into one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Altered books can become a journal, an expression of a theme, a memoir, or just an artistic exercise in process and materials. There is unlimited potential for how and why one approaches the making of an altered book. Using various coloring mediums, folding techniques, cut-outs, embellishments, and other techniques and materials, students will create their own unique expression. Supply list provided.
