Working from life (self-portraits and sculptures), as well as images of the human face, students will begin to understand the complex anatomy of the face while creating drawings. Build on existing knowledge and use as a foundation for future art courses and portfolio building. Students will be introduced to portraits from select periods of history to inspire their work.
