Explore various ways to express your feelings in paintings by using fresh color combinations through “pushed” color, saturation, and temperature contrasts, and more. While light sculpts and defines what we see, color can be used as the dominant element of design for the expression of a painting. Simplify and exaggerate aspects of our landscape subject matter to create potent design concepts through quick, small studies before creating enlarged pastel paintings. Robert will demonstrate various techniques, exercises and color concepts in landscape. Bring a variety landscape photos you like. All levels welcome. Supply list provided.
