Following the Museums a la Carte lecture with author Daniel Bullen, docent Deena Maniscalchi will discuss how Springfield native Belle Townsley and her husband George Walter Vincent Smith’s love for collecting paintings and artifacts from all over the world led to them to opening up the George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum in 1895.
