Drawing on the wealth of National Historic Landmark properties covered in their recent book, Historic New England: A Tour of the Region’s Top 100 National Landmarks, authors Patricia Harris and David Lyon will discuss and show photos of a dozen New England sites associated with some of our most beloved authors and artists. Sites include the stunningly landscaped grounds of sculptor Daniel Chester French’s Chesterwood in Stockbridge, the homey confines of the Louisa May Alcott house in Concord, and Winslow Homer’s studio on Prout’s Neck south of Portland, Maine, arguably one of the most iconic ocean views in American art.

Presented by Patricia Harris and David Lyon, authors and Boston Globe contributors
