Through exploration of the Wood Museum of Springfield History and the Springfield Science Museum, you’ll be inspired to create and complete engineering tasks, including how to build your very own satellite. Learn more about the Connecticut River Valley and the environment around you. Explore the Science Museum’s Mineral Hall and learn how to identify different rock and mineral types. Visit the special exhibit Washi Transformed and make your own origami creations. In the lab, we’ll examine and observe chemical reactions and more! Students can extend exploration in one of these areas of their choice. Bring a snack and lunch. Dress for mess
