Working on black paper, you’ll learn to use simplicity, limited palette, atmospheric perspective and dominate value to create unexpected drama in your landscape painting. The workshop will begin with an hour demo, followed by workshop attendees completing a series of color study exercises before beginning their larger piece. Each artist will have plenty of individual attention at their easel and will leave with the knowledge and confidence to successfully create their own dramatic landscape at home. Participants are encouraged to work from their own landscape photos.
