From 1919 through 1931, Rolls-Royce America Inc. produced nearly 3,000 cars in Springfield Massachusetts, and are today considered more collectable than their British counterparts. This lecture will walk you through the history of Rolls-Royce America, the impact on the Springfield area, and then we’ll look at some of the famous and rare Silver Ghosts and Phantoms built here in Springfield.  We will conclude this lecture with a visit to the Wood Museum of Springfield History as part of our Continuing Conversations Program.
