Artist Priya N. Green discusses the influences of her recent paintings from the body of work entitled Artifice. Her work explores how the human condition is affected by modern communication, the deluge of screens, and our perception of current events and personal experiences. Green, who’s family is originally from India, investigates imagery of uprisings that took place both in the US and in India during 2020. These paintings are on display in the D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts Community Gallery throughout 2023.
