The modern planetarium was invented 100 years ago by the Zeiss Corporation in Germany. Our Korkosz planetarium projector is a big part of that history. Built here by Frank and John Korkosz, it is the oldest operating American-made projector and the second one ever built in America.
Join us as we mark this milestone with special presentations in the Seymour Planetarium (schedule below), telescope demonstrations, and hands-on activities. Free with museum admission!
