Building on the special exhibition Declaration of Innovation: Springfield’s Revolutionary Ideas, join Curator of Library & Archives Zoe Cheek on a walk through the lives of three Springfield residents and the revolutionary impacts they left behind. Uncover the stories of Homer B. Hulbert, an educator, missionary, author, and political activist; June Foray, a legendary voice actress and animation advocate; and Everett H. Barney, a local inventor, businessman, and general eccentric. Though their lives were remarkably different, discover how these individuals called Springfield home and prove that anyone can be revolutionary.
