Man in brook readying to cast line.
As an avid sportsman and artist, Arthur Fitzwilliam Tait provided Currier & Ives with first-hand images of hunting and fishing. In this print, the fisherman is dressed in the latest fashion for the sport. The day’s successful catch is displayed on the riverbank next to him and he cautiously reels in another fish.
