The Museums acquire new items for its permanent collection through the generosity of individual donations and/or bequests. In evaluating potential donations, the Museums consider whether the items meet the following criteria: are relevant to the Museums’ mission; complement or strengthen existing collections; and can be given proper care. Acquired art and artifacts are used to support the Museums’ research activities, educational programs, and exhibitions.
If you are interested in donating items to the Museums, please submit the form below and make an appointment BEFORE you bring your items to the Museums. Please do not drop off or mail art or artifacts without first contacting the Museums—we want to make sure that your potential gift is properly identified and safeguarded.
