The Springfield Museums are honored to support the community through in-kind donations to non-profit organizations. If you are seeking items for a charity auction or cause, complete our online application or submit a request in writing on organization’s letterhead with organization’s legal name.

Given the large number of requests we receive each year for donations and in order to assist as many organizations as possible, our donations are based on the following criteria:

  • Organization must be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN must be included in the request) or a school
  • Organization should be located within 90 miles of the Springfield Museums
  • Name, address, phone number and email of person who is familiar with the organization must be included with the request
  • Event description, date and expected number of attendees should be included in the request
  • Types of marketing materials the Museums’ name will appear on (i.e. program book, auction guide, table signage, etc.)
  • Requests for donations must be submitted at least one month prior to the related event or deadline
  • No more than one donation is made to any group or its affiliate per calendar year
  • Donations are limited and considered on a first-come, first-served basis

Please note that, as a non-profit itself, the Springfield Museums can only make in-kind donations; requests for financial support cannot be considered. The Museums are unable to donate to for-profit organizations, political action groups, or political campaigns.
