Springfield Science Museum, Changing Exhibitions Gallery, Second Floor

Enter a realm of fanciful gingerbread houses created by local bakeries, schools, youth groups, individuals and families as part of our annual Gingerbread House Competition.

Contestants were inspired by adventure stories, historic places, and their own imaginations to create these marvelous gingerbread displays. Come take a stroll through this magical world filled with gingerbread houses, decorated holiday trees, and scenes inspired by a popular fairy tale about a fearless princess’ epic journey to find her sister whose powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter.

Visitors can vote for their favorites in the following categories:

• Professional: Bake Shops, Caterers, Restaurants, or Professional Bakers
• Adult: Individual or group adult, age 18 & up
• Youth: Individual or group youth, age 8-17
