Connecticut artist Daryl Zang’s self-portraits depict the beauty and sometimes the frustrations of motherhood. Her canvases reflect the private moments, personal space and inner emotions of all women. The muted palette and beautifully rendered drapery in her paintings speak to the soft, contemplative side of femininity.
Carving out her own artistic niche, Zang has been developing this body of work since 2001.
