A Friendly Life

Pres Blake, 102 years young, will share the history of Friendly Ice Cream—the ice cream shop and restaurant he founded right here in Springfield with his brother Curtis—while interweaving aspects of his life. Following the presentation, Blake will sign copies of his book, A Friendly Life.

Rose Slate, “the Friendly Historian” will also be on hand to answer questions.

The audience is invited to bring a lunch to enjoy during the program.
Free coffee available. Ice cream novelties will be provided by Friendly’s.
