From its origins in 1821, Springfield’s public park system has grown to include over 100 parks. Join Joseph Carvalho, co-author of “Over 200 Years of Springfield Parks,” for a journey through the intriguing history and enduring legacy of the City’s park system. Explore the resilience and influence of Springfield’s parks, with a focus on the renowned Forest Park.
