As the universe expands, be sure that your knowledge and appreciation of all things astronomical expands along with it! This monthly virtual series features a Q&A segment on a topic in astronomy as well as a tour of the sights you can observe. We will also be treated to photographs from local amateur astronomers highlighting recent observations.
This month: Astrophysics 101! We will start an occasional series on introductory topics in astrophysics. In this session we will learn about the wave nature of light. Discover how we know light is a wave, how different wavelengths give us different forms of energy, and the effects of redshifting.
Topic may change if there is a news-worthy development worth covering.
