Chartres Cathedral, an icon of French Gothic architecture, underwent restoration between June 2014 and October 2016 of the nave, the stained-glass windows on each side, and the first statues in the ambulatory. The film tells the story of the restorers, archeologists, scientists, and architects who worked to complete this vast project. The film is directed by Anne Savalli, documentary film-maker, and produced by Laurent Segal of Kanari Films, France.
