Color Mixing: the Limited Palette

January 29, 2019 @ 10:00 am1:00 pm
| Cost: $42 | Cost for Members: $36

The Limited Palette, famously used by Anders Zorn, gets at the heart of the nature of light and color. Using only the primary colors, artists are compelled to interpret what they see, instead of copy. In the process, they gain a deep understanding of how all colors are connected and relate to each other. Students will learn applicable methods to push the boundaries of the limited palette, all the while exploring color theory and the inner workings of light, form and color. No previous painting experience required. Supply list provided.
