Following the Museums a la Carte lecture with Dr. Thomas L. Higgins, docent Jerre Hoffman will discuss the Young Family and their Pierce Arrow Automobile on display in the Wood Museum of Springfield History.
Over 100 years ago Wilbur F. Young and his wife, Mary Ida, started the Company Absorbine Jr. The Young family mansion at 734 Longmeadow St. was home for over five generations of the Young Family and is a distinctive landmark that has significant historical and architectural value to the town of Longmeadow.
