Just got a camera and feeling overwhelmed by the buttons, dials, and menus? In this beginner-friendly class Kevin Kopchynski introduces the few settings you really need to be in control of your camera and get creative results. He’ll share his experience to help you learn how and why to make choices that give you the image you want. We’ll explore the science museum galleries to practice your new-found skills. See the galleries in a new light after hours with Kevin’s STEM Curator expertise.
Students should bring their own camera or device. A camera with aperture priority, exposure compensation, histogram display, and adjustable ISO is recommended to get the most out of the class. Phone users will be able to adapt much of what is presented.
