Maple Syrup

Culinary Traditions: Syrupy Sweet

March 12, 2022 @ 10:00 am12:30 pm
| Cost: $35 | Cost for Members: $30

New Date!

The sweetest herald of spring is the maple syrup harvest, which starts in February. But this local specialty is not the only syrup that brings dulcet flavors to our tables. There’s honey and agave syrup, molasses and its lighter cousin golden syrup, and many others! This course explains the sources and uses of the many syrups we can use to make sweet treats – for Valentine’s and beyond. As always, instructor Claire Hopley will bring samples to taste and recipes to share.
