Dive in and discover the “amazing and spooky” glow-in-the-dark creatures who live at the ocean’s deepest parts, the sea’s mighty whales, penguins and seals, and the creatures that wash up on the shore. Did mermaids really exist? You’ll learn about polar bears and their icy habitat. Discover the critters that glide through and on the surface of a pond. Meet turtles face-to-face, observe life inside a “mini” pond and examine “invisible” pond life in a drop of water. Through many water experiments, activities, observations and creation of your own water habitat diorama, you’ll gain an appreciation for why we need to take much better care for our watery planet Earth. Visits to the museums’ permanent and special exhibits and performances will enhance the fun.

Bring a snack and a brown bag lunch. DRESS FOR MESS!
