Explore the challenging, but rewarding genre of rendering wildlife and animals in pencil and other drawing media with award-winning wildlife artist, Steve Hamlin. Some of the specific areas we’ll focus on include texture of fur and feathers, wet and/or reflective surfaces like eyes, tongues, and noses, and underlying musculature and anatomy and the effect of light and shadow on it. The pace, scope, and subject matter of the class will be adjusted depending on the interests and skill level of participants. Some drawing experience is recommended. Most materials will be available for loan or purchase. Supply list provided.
