Join Elaine Chittenden, botanist and manager of living collections at the Botanic Garden of Smith College, for a look at the gorgeous fall color at Mt. Tom, Holyoke, MA. The focus will be on trees and shrubs, as well as herbaceous plants, lichens, mosses, and liverworts. Even the parking lot has gorgeous yellow fall color (in spicebush and moosewood) and screaming red in black gum or tupelo. This is a leisurely walk, not an aerobic activity. Children are welcome. Information and directions to the Bray Loop Trail provided with registration.
