The Currier Museum of Art features a permanent collection of European and American paintings, decorative arts, sculpture, and photographs and two Usonian Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Houses – the Zimmerman House bequeathed to the museum in 1988, and the Kalil House, purchased by the museum in 2019. We’ll explore the Currier Museum’s extensive collection of works by Picasso, Matisse, Monet, O’Keeffe, and Warhol, and tour the Frank Lloyd Wright houses designed by America’s most important architect. Enjoy a glimpse into the private lives of Isadore and Lucille Zimmerman through a guided tour of this classic Usonian-style home, including the gardens, furniture, and textiles. The Kalil house was built in 1957 for Dr. Toufic and Mildred Kalil, friends and neighbors of Dr. Isadore and Lucille Zimmerman. Their striking Wright house is different in design and character from the Zimmerman’s residence. Lunch is included at the Museum.
