Astronomy Day began in California in 1973 as a way to share the joy of astronomy with the public and has grown into a worldwide annual event. This year will feature cosmic activities for all ages, including many that fulfill Space Science and Sky badge requirements. An additional fee for planetarium shows applies. Badge activities are leader facilitated within museum staff led programs and badges can be purchased at the council store.
All Girl Scouts who register receive the group rate regardless of group size.
