In this delicious and nutritious class, students and their parents will learn about the food pyramid and how it applies to every day eating. Through yummy and fun activities, students will examine the properties of fats, proteins, and carbohydrates, and then apply their new knowledge to design a healthy menu, make a healthy meal, and for dessert, make homemade ice-cream!!! Dress for mess! Bring an apron and an insulated lunch box to bring home your treats!
