Nuts are popular in winter celebrations and holiday dishes—especially in Europe where they are essential in traditional festive cookies and desserts. This class will focus on the varieties of nuts, why they appear in holiday dishes, and the traditions associated with them. Claire will feature some of the many seasonal recipes that call for them along with tasty dishes for sampling, recipes, and cookbooks.
