Inside the Creation of The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum

June 2, 2017, fifteen years after the opening of the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden, the Springfield Museums held the ribbon cutting for The Amazing World of Dr. Seuss Museum. Go behind the scenes to learn how the historic landmark building was painstakingly restored and transformed into a three-story Dr. Seuss museum experience for 21st-century audiences through a partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises and the generous donations and assistance from the Geisel family.

Presented by John Simpson, artist and project director; and Kay Simpson, President, Springfield Museums

The audience is invited to bring a lunch to enjoy during the program.
