This lecture will introduce one of the Science Museum’s upcoming exhibits, a current museum quality educational replica of NASA’s Space Suit, or EMU. The lecture will start with a brief history of the development of the Space Suit along with historical milestones by both the US and Russian space programs. The lecture will continue into the detailed design and operation of the Space Suit along with a lot of fun facts around living and working in space. The spacesuit will be part of the International Space Station exhibit in the Science Museum.
