The strawberries of June herald our berry season. Raspberries soon follow, and then blueberries, blackberries, and finally cranberries. Gooseberries, blackcurrants, and elderberries are around, too. Food historian and cookbook author Claire Hopley will discuss the berry families, the lore of berries, and explore the myriad ways of cooking them with tasty dishes for sampling and recipes to take home.
