Rachel F. Hirsch and Kevin Dee are Golden Bird- an acoustic duo of vocals, guitar, and ukulele. Bringing their classical background to renditions of pop, jazz, musical theater, folk tunes, and original music, their relaxing vibe is perfect for a morning of music.

How did artists create paints in medieval times? Visit the Late Medieval and Northern European & Renaissance Galleries, and then use pigments and eggs to make your very own paint, try it out, and highlight a special area of your painting with real gold leaf.

Block Printing
For centuries artists have created images on wood, screens, or metal and put them to paper or cloth to create prints. Try your hand at printmaking with Styrofoam blocks and quick-drying, water-based inks.
Sketching on the Quadrangle
Get inspired by the surroundings and create a sketch based on what you see. (Weather permitting.)
Explore Shapes and Color
Play with puzzles, flash cards, look through books, and name your own color in the American Painting Salon. This station is perfect for our littlest visitors.
