La France: A Cultural Road Trip

March 13, 2019 @ 10:00 am11:30 am
| Cost: $110 | Cost for Members: $90

France is the most visited nation in the world. The food and wine, the sense of style and high fashion, chateaux and cathedrals, and the museums are magnifique! However, most tourists visiting France only see Paris and miss the rich diversity of la France profonde—“deep France”where the pace of life is slower but the culture as rich as Paris. Together we will explore and discover the considerable riches hidden in Lyon, Provence, and the Rhone River Valley, Caen and Bayeux in Normandy, Troyes and Dijon amidst some of the most exclusive vineyards, the Vallé de la Loire, and the Bordelaise region of the southwest. Uncover the architectural, artistic, and culinary treasures, history, and folkways of la France!
