Modern Astronomical Research at Lowell Observatory

The lecture will emphasize the recent New Horizons mission, featuring up-to-date results of that spacecraft’s 2015 flight past Pluto and Lowell Observatory’s contributions to the mission.  The search for exoplanets–planets circling distant stars–will also be discussed.
