The existence of art museums guarantees the preservation of creative space in a world increasingly saturated with identical shopping centers, dismal websites, plaster saint celebrities and a youth addicted to social media, is induced with quotes from Charles Webster Hawthorne, the founder of the Cape Cod School of Art, Kanjiro Kawai, the leader of Japan’s folk art movement, and artists such as Jean Dubuffet, August Renoir, and Caspar Davis Friedrich, with fun from Salvador Dali, and Edward Lear Limerick about Johannes Braham’s beard and nonsense poetry by William Blake.

Presented by Richard Muhlberger, former director of the Springfield Art Museums, adjunct professor of art and architectural history, Western New England University, author of 16 books and numerous publications on art and artists.  Former Head of the Education Department at the Worcester Art Museum, The Detroit Institute of the Arts, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
