The famed cascading nasturtium installation of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is a spectacle out of a fairy tale. Established by Isabella herself, the unique display of brilliant orange nasturtium vines spilling down from the Venetian balconies of the Courtyard has inspired artists and visitors to her museum for over a hundred years. Join the Gardner Museum’s Senior Manager of Horticulture, Jenny Pore, for a glimpse behind the scenes of this annual tradition and discover the history of the nasturtium, from beneficial herb to treasured ornamental. Free with museum admission!
