Since the first cookbook was published was in the U.S. in 1796, women from New England have created many cookbooks, including many seminal works. Join food historian and cookbook author Hopley as she discusses 19th and 20th century WOMEN authors and how they influenced the presentation and cooking of traditional recipes. There will be updated versions of these authors’ spring and summer recipes for sampling and signed copies of Claire’s cookbooks available for purchase.
