The Frick collection features Turner’s Modern and Ancient Ports: Passages through Time, a major exhibition that brings together thirty-five works of Turner’s from the 1810s through the late 1830s in oil, watercolor, and graphite. We’ll enjoy a self-guided tour, followed by a visit to The Met Breuer. The landmark building, designed by Marcel Breuer for The Whitney Museum of Art, is currently the home to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s changing exhibits of their extensive modern and contemporary art collection. Lunch is on your own.
