Tour the Newport Art Museum and collection of many notable works from Rhode Island and New England artists, as well as many contemporary artists. Enjoy lunch at La Forge Restaurant followed by a guided tour of Rough Point, the magnificent oceanfront estate of the heiress, philanthropist and art collector Doris Duke. The mansion is still decorated as she left it, complete with French furniture, European art, Chinese porcelains, and Turkish carpets, with sweeping ocean views and expansive grounds designed by Frederick Law Olmsted.
